With monthly payments (for periods of coverage of at least 180 days), however, you do not have the option of paying by bank transfer, as monthly payments are only possible with a SEPA direct debit mandate. |

In general, every type of medical treatment which is considered necessary and which did not begin before commencement of the period of coverage (pre-condition) is insured. The international health insurance includes medical treatment by specialists (e.g., orthopaedists, gynaecologists) and inpatient treatment in the standard care class, with the exclusion of any treatment by the head physician. |

If the guest cannot enter the country, a refund of the insurance premium is possible upon request. In order for the premium to be refunded, it is necessary to submit the rejection letter from the embassy or consulate. A refund will be made within 4-6 weeks less a processing fee of 5 EUR. |

No. When you start working in Germany for the first time, you must apply for a social security card from a statutory health insurance fund (DAK, AOK, IKK, TK, ...) on behalf of your German employer. The social security number is not issued by a private insurance company. |
Please enter the maximum number of days the visitor intends to stay in Germany as the 'duration of coverage'. If there is a change, please inform us by letter, fax or e-mail. You can extend your coverage in accordance with the policy terms and conditions or terminate it in writing at the end of the month. |
As soon as we have received your application and determined we can insure you, you will receive confirmation of coverage by e-mail within a few minutes and, with periods of coverage 120 days or more, we will also send it to you via regular mail. In our experience, this confirmation has been recognized as proof of insurance coverage by all foreign authorities. It is usually sufficient to submit a copy of the document to the authorities. |
